Puak Taem is an artisan community specialising in brass ornaments for traditional ceremonies. The only brass production place in Chiang Mai where they still use traditional techniques to produce brass flowers, shields, umbrella holders and other accessories for temple ceremonies.
Masterpieces
Inside the temple complex, you’ll even find a small museum of brass sculptured ornaments. Not just for tourists to look at, but also as samples for other artisans from all over Northern Thailand.
